Vending Machine

Very Sad Day
Kim Manners has died from lung cancer. About as long as I have been watching TV, I’ve been watching his work. I grew up obsessed with X-Files, and the only show today that matches my level of enthusiasm I had for it, is Supernatural, and he was a driving force behind both.
He may have been the greatest television director of our time, and now he’s gone.
A Hip Replacement Movie Marathon
So my Dad recently underwent a hip replacement- his second in two years. The surgery, which went down this past Tuesday, went well and he already gets to come home today. There will, of course, be a recovery period where he’ll hang out in my old bedroom back home that we converted into a recovery room (we moved the furniture around) watching all the movies he’s been meaning to watch...
"We have to go back!"
I’ll tell you what, I can’t wait to go back.
Back to watching Lost that is! The two hour season premiere comes on ABC tonight at 8/7 central. Its going to be awesome, but a little strange. I watched all the previous seasons on DVD and online at an insanely fast pace. It is going to be kind of tough getting used to commerical breaks and waiting a week until the next installment....
