lulz

Up until last year, Onward to Iowa couldn’t play a show without some new listener telling us that we sounded like the “Juno Soundtrack”. Now they never said we sounded like The Moldy Peaches (something I definitely do not agree with but can at least see, given the simple guitar and the boy-girl vocals); they just said we sound like the “Juno Soundtrack”.
I mean it’s not bad company. I love The Kinks,  enjoy most Belle and Sebastian and Sonic Youth and respect The Velvet Underground, but its hard to see how Onward to Iowa can sound like all of those bands at once.
That’d be a mess.
